Membership benefits include:
- Free admission to the San Francisco Zoo and close to 125 other zoos and aquariums for one year
- A one-year subscription to Zoo Views (the Zoo’s quarterly Membership magazine)
- A 10% discount in the Zoo’s shops and restaurants during Membership period
- Free admission to the VIP parties for specific Zoo II cultivation events
- Discounted admission to the Zoo II signature event – THE FUR BALL

MEMBERSHIP EVENTS:
RENEW THE ZOO (Monthly) – Zoo II members meet at the San Francisco Zoo monthly on a designated Saturday morning to help renew the Zoo. As a group, Zoo II provides hands-on support in cleaning up particular exhibits and working with the horticulture department on restoring the grounds.
URBAN SAFARI HAPPY HOURS (Bimonthly) – Happy Hours attract approximately 75-100 attendees for cocktails and appetizers. Admission is complimentary for Zoo II members and $10-20 for all other guests. Tickets to the Fur Ball are raffled off regularly at these events.
FUR BALL (Annually) – Fur Ball is Zoo II’s signature social event and gala that is held annually at the San Francisco Zoo. The gala includes a silent and live auction in addition to a VIP reception. An estimated 250-300 attendees are at the Fur Ball and enjoy a cocktail reception, passed hors d’ouevres and dancing.
