SUMMARY: Zoo II recently hosted their Third Annual Fur Ball on September 26, 2009 at the San Francisco Zoo. Approximately 250 revelers enjoyed delectable cocktails, live and silent auctions, scrumptious nibbles and endless dancing to top 80′s hits performed by the band Pop Rocks, all while surrounded by the San Francisco Zoo’s naturally wild jungle backdrop. The Gala included a special VIP reception to honor corporate sponsors and Zoo II members. VIP attendees sipped Mumm Napa champagne and had a rare viewing of a special feeding of the Lions and Tigers in the Lion House.
